"The need for an internet connection," explains Camilla Lusuardi, head of Residenza Pieverossa, "has marked the evolution of our customers, who in over 14 years of activity have radically changed their habits."

Pieve Rossa mainly hosts professionals who are looking for comfort, quality and the availability of fast and reliable connection services. Initially, an Ethernet network was created with 17 APs distributed across the facility. Initially, the service was tailored to the requirements, but gradually the need to optimize the network became increasingly more pressing. Access to wireless connectivity did not cover the property entirely and was limited to certain areas and the quality of the connection was not optimal. A traditional ADSL line was shared over the Ethernet network to which several routers were connected. This resulted in a discontinuous availability of services linked to the range of the routers and conflicts often arose between the various stations.

Pieve Rossa turned to SEIT to find a definitive solution and guarantee its customers uncompromising connectivity. There was the need to cover the internal and external parts off our independent buildings characterized by particularly thick walls that certainly did not facilitate a correct distribution of the signal.

Camilla Lusardi, in this regard, stressed: "When we turned to SEIT, our need was to find an optimal solution for a reasonable investment. The proposal we received was absolutely in line with our expectations. Silvestro Ascione, SEIT's sales manager, specified: "When we prepared our offer for Pieve Rossa for optimal coverage, we also had to be able to reduce the number of APs and any duct work as much as possible, while at the same time being able to optimize their power.

EnGenius has proved to be the most suitable partner inthis area because its support is not limited to products but includes a family of tools in the cloud that allow you to simplify as much as possible the design and administration of the network. The EWS550AP APs have enabled the number of units used in the installation to be reduced to a minimum. Their transmission is 360° and consequently their range is wider than that of products radiating at 180°.

Ascione also stressed the great utility of ezMaster, a proprietary cloud application reserved for EnGenius partners, which enabled SEIT to optimize the quality of Wi-Fi network coverage by regulating the power of individual APs. The balance of the installation is certainly positive, in fact, a few months after the completion of the network upgrade work, Camilla Lusardi stressed: "Since the installation of the new system we have had no more problems and our best expectations have been met from the initial phase of the work for which no ducts or movements of any kind were necessary - everything was simple and effective".
